    Alan King's note
Probably, the form heard by Sch was nikuchpana, which he mis-analysed and mis-heard as "nikwichpana" which he segmented "ni-kwi-chpana" under the influence of Class. nitla chpana (which he cites), and so resolves the syllable he couldn't account for as *-kwi- which he relates to Class. nitla cuicui! Other Pipil sources agree on the far simpler analysis ni-k-uchpana, cf. t-uchpana in the inaccusative.
